OUR MISSION
The mission of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is to educate qualified graduates who possess a strong theoretical foundation based on mathematics, statistics, algorithms, and computer science, and who are able to apply, analyze, and develop contemporary methods in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
In line with this mission, our department aims to cultivate individuals who have data-driven problem-solving skills, strong algorithmic thinking abilities, and the capacity to integrate theoretical knowledge with practice in areas such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and optimization. Our goal is to prepare students who are aware of their ethical responsibilities, capable of evaluating the social impacts of artificial intelligence, able to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, and proficient in the use of sector-specific software, tools, and technologies.
Our department has also adopted the mission of contributing to the country’s technological development and competitiveness in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning through industry-integrated workplace training, practice-oriented courses, graduation projects, and national and international R&D activities.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to become a pioneering department that is recognized nationally and internationally in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning; distinguished by its strong academic staff, up-to-date and dynamic curriculum, and application- and research-oriented approach; and effective in implementing university–industry collaboration.
Our department envisions integrating with universities around the world through student and faculty exchange programs, and educating qualified professionals who embrace an ethical and responsible understanding of artificial intelligence, can develop innovative technologies, and are capable of assuming leadership roles in both academic and industrial fields.
